OKX to introduce Spot-derivatives risk offset in Portfolio Margin-OKX Tutorial

OKX is pleased to introduce a new feature - Spot-derivatives risk offset in Portfolio Margin account mode at 07:00 am UTC on Aug 24th, 2022. Previously margin requirement is calculated based on perpetual swaps, futures and options positions within risk units.Going forward, we will allow spot positions to be placed into the risk unit to risk offset derivatives positions in order to lower the margin requirement.

For the users who use spot to hedge derivatives positions, margin requirement could be lowered significantly.

Users can toggle Spot-derivatives risk offset mode in Portfolio Margin.

Under Spot-derivatives risk offset mode, users can include spot positions into either crypto-margined or USDT-margined risk units. For example:

Step 1: Log in to your OKX account
